Last Tranfser!!

Polly here. We received SIster Hill flight itinerary so we know she will be arriving home on Nov. 1 around 3:30 pm. So the countdown is on and we are excited to hug our returned missionary.  


Hello friends! Sorry it's been a hot second. My mom got after me for not sending a email in awhile... so here we are:))


The last 4 weeks have been great! Ups & downs for sure but lots of learning experiences that I'm so grateful for! 


A quick run down of this crazy month haha
We are teaching a sweet 10 year old named rielle, please please pray for her & her family! They are so sweet but it's a hard home situation. 


This weekend I was able to go to the baptism of someone I taught in my last area, Troy! His little sister was baptized last year and he's been taught on and off by different missionaries for YEARS. He finally was ready and it was a great day:) so proud of him 


Elder Teh from the seventy came and visited our mission and so we had a ton of meetings which was so cool! Very revelatory haha
Here's some insights from what I learned: 
- have the mindset of "what sign am I showing the Lord?" This has helped me stay focused on my purpose & taking advantage of every opportunity 
- don't just do the work, turn your heart over to the Lord, let Him change you
- just like how the Restoration is a process, our conversion is a process, not a single event 


The last 2 weeks have been kinda tough for me, I've just felt so exhausted. My last transfer just started, only 6 weeks left, and it's been weird. There's days where I feel like I want to cry because I want to go home but then there's days where I want to cry because I want to stay here forever. It's a rollercoaster lol. But I have had some really cool experiences lately where the spirit has comforted me and a thought has been placed into my head that I know is God helping me. Even though it's challenging I've never felt closer to my Heavenly Father, I've spent a lot of time kneeling in prayer asking for help and I've felt that help. 
I know that God listens to us. I know that He loves us and He can help us. I feel so humbled at His patience with me haha

Heyoooo it's been a rollercoaster of a week. Lots of good and not so good. But that's okay because Satan works hard when he knows we're close to something good! So I've talked about the Winterton family a lot, because we've been working with them alot and just looovveee them. But some sad news, the dad told us he doesn't want missionaries coming over anymore. We were so shocked because we didn't have any clue that they had some concerns. They also seemed so happy to have us over and we looovveeed going over, so we were very sad. Even though we aren't meeting with them anymore I have hope that they'll remember coming to church and having us over and that the spirit will keep working on them!  One huge miracle!! Kendalyn came to church! Annndd she went up and bore her testimony! It was the sweetest thing in the entire world and made me cryyyy:,) she's so good and is so happy to come back to church. God Is Good!!

Hey!! it was a good week with lots of miracles! God is good We met with Heaven on Saturday night and holy moly what a spiritual lesson! Her husband has a crazy conversion story & when he shares his testimony it's so powerful!! We were talking about Christ's Atonement and I just sat back and listened to him talk and just started crying because the spirit was insane. I love Jesus Christ and His gospel!!! It's so amazing!! The joy it brings is incomparable.  We also met with Lupe Jr who we were teaching for awhile but then passed off to YSA. He had a baptismal date when we taught him but then fell off with the elders. Which is not their fault at all haha Lupe just doesn't like the elders.. he asked us if we could teach him again. So thats kinda awkward because he has a little bit of a flirting problem but we told him he had to be meeting with us for the right reasons lol and he said he is sooo.. were gonna start teaching him again and get him baptized!  We met with our...

Greenie Fire!!

Yesterday was Sister Hill 21st birthday!! She is happy and doing great. She is excited to be a trainer and will be awesome. You can email her anytime. Thanks for loving our sweet Sister. Polly olivia.hill@missionary.org What's uppp! It's been a crazy week, little update for yall--> Got my little greenie on Wednesday, Sister Sheppard! Shes so cute & fun, love her already! She's from Phoenix & went to BYU for a little before the mission.  It was the 3 of us for a few days but Sister Plank let this morning, we woke up at 3 to get her to the airport! Crazy! I'll miss her a lot, its been fun!  We had a BOMB lesson with Debbie & I felt the spirit so strongly as we visited with her,  I asked her straight up if she believes in the things we have shared with her. Without hesitation she said Yes!! I just love Debbie so much and I want so badly for her to get on the covenant path back to God!
