Corona Times!!

Hello friends! It has been a crazy couple weeks! My companion Sister Stettler went home this last week and then I got my new companion Sister Kendrick! She is so cute holy moly. We're having a good time here in Umatilla! 


Last week Amanda got baptized!! It was so good ahhh I LOVE HER! It was so funny because after she got confirmed she went up to bare her testimony & decided to sing a song... it was so sweet, but also, she cannot sing. So it was interesting hahah but so tender because she just wanted to share her testimony!! I wish yall couldve experienced it hahahah


On tuesday my bff Phyllis got baptized!!! AHHH phyllis is the funniest & craziest lady. I taught her in my last area so I got to go back for her baptism it was soooo good. But also very chaotic haha. We filled the font so high so that she would be fully submerged easily because of her back problems. And it worked because she went under with no problem haha. After she came back up from the water she was so excited she was clapping & shouting for joy & praising the Lord! It was the greatest thing of my life hahaha. I love phyllis so much!! 


About 2 weeks ago basically the whole hermiston zone had covid & got quarantined. Me and my companion were the only ones who didnt have it haha so we were staying far away from everyone. Buttttt this week happened & I ended up getting it & so now me & sister kendrick are quarantined :/ but thats alright! We've been watching Book of Mormon videos & working on a puzzle & calling lots of people haha. Good times! 


I was reading in 1 Nephi when nephi is building a ship & his brothers are being mean to him lol & telling him he cant do it, & nephi has a baller response in 1 nephi 17: 
50 And I said unto them: If God had commanded me to do all things I could do them. If he should command me that I should say unto this water, be thou earth, it should be earth; and if I should say it, it would be done.
51 And now, if the Lord has such great power, and has wrought so many miracles among the children of men, how is it that he cannot instruct me, that I should build a ship?


I know it might be easy to skip over those but plsssss read it^^^^^ 
Those are some of my favorite verses because I know that through God ANYTHING is possible. Remember to always keep your faith in Him, even when a trial that lies before you seems impossible or too hard. Its not impossible for God!

Heyoooo it's been a rollercoaster of a week. Lots of good and not so good. But that's okay because Satan works hard when he knows we're close to something good! So I've talked about the Winterton family a lot, because we've been working with them alot and just looovveee them. But some sad news, the dad told us he doesn't want missionaries coming over anymore. We were so shocked because we didn't have any clue that they had some concerns. They also seemed so happy to have us over and we looovveeed going over, so we were very sad. Even though we aren't meeting with them anymore I have hope that they'll remember coming to church and having us over and that the spirit will keep working on them!  One huge miracle!! Kendalyn came to church! Annndd she went up and bore her testimony! It was the sweetest thing in the entire world and made me cryyyy:,) she's so good and is so happy to come back to church. God Is Good!!

Hey!! it was a good week with lots of miracles! God is good We met with Heaven on Saturday night and holy moly what a spiritual lesson! Her husband has a crazy conversion story & when he shares his testimony it's so powerful!! We were talking about Christ's Atonement and I just sat back and listened to him talk and just started crying because the spirit was insane. I love Jesus Christ and His gospel!!! It's so amazing!! The joy it brings is incomparable.  We also met with Lupe Jr who we were teaching for awhile but then passed off to YSA. He had a baptismal date when we taught him but then fell off with the elders. Which is not their fault at all haha Lupe just doesn't like the elders.. he asked us if we could teach him again. So thats kinda awkward because he has a little bit of a flirting problem but we told him he had to be meeting with us for the right reasons lol and he said he is sooo.. were gonna start teaching him again and get him baptized!  We met with our...

Yesterday was Sister Hill 21st birthday!! She is happy and doing great. She is excited to be a trainer and will be awesome. You can email her anytime. Thanks for loving our sweet Sister. Polly olivia.hill@missionary.org What's uppp! It's been a crazy week, little update for yall--> Got my little greenie on Wednesday, Sister Sheppard! Shes so cute & fun, love her already! She's from Phoenix & went to BYU for a little before the mission.  It was the 3 of us for a few days but Sister Plank let this morning, we woke up at 3 to get her to the airport! Crazy! I'll miss her a lot, its been fun!  We had a BOMB lesson with Debbie & I felt the spirit so strongly as we visited with her,  I asked her straight up if she believes in the things we have shared with her. Without hesitation she said Yes!! I just love Debbie so much and I want so badly for her to get on the covenant path back to God!
