KNZ Rocks!!

Hello, I hope everyone is doing amazing! This week has been so bomb!!

 

 

It's transfers this week but I'm staying with Sister Loucks in the Kennewick zone (KNZ baby) I'm still in training so it makes sense that we don't get switched around but still you never know. 

I love my area and Sister Loucks so I'm very happy to be staying! 

 

 

We started teaching Reagan last week!! He's 61 and lives by himself out in the boonies of Cottonwood, so we have to drive out kinda far to meet with him. But he is awesome! He loves to talk lol and he has like 30 chickens so he always gives us a ton of eggs haha. He's not very religious so we're trying to teach him the basics (which makes it very easy for me lol) but we gave him a BOM last time we met with him! We asked him to read the intro and when we met him again he had already started into 1 Nephi!!!!! Ahhh yay Reagan! 

 

 

We met with Cory again and he basically told us he doesn't want to join another religion again... but we're working on that haha. When we met with him this week he had nothing but amazing things to say about the church. He said "if there was one word I would use to describe your church it would be Love" my heart exploded!! He already knows he loves our church and he tells everyone about how cool we are haha. It was so funny because he asked us if there was a quota we needed to reach with how many people we baptize lol and then he was like "because if so I'll get baptized for you guys" and we were like ..... uhhh... hahah as much as I wanted to be like uh yeah lets do that, we want him to be baptized for the right reasons! Everyone say a prayer for Cory! 

 

 

We had a zone conference this Thursday and wow, so sick. We filled the church gym with like 100 missionaries and the spirit was so dang strong! I love my mission president and his wife, they're amazing!! Sister Rasmussen taught a lot of Joseph Smith and wow I love that guy. Everytime I think about him and what he's done for us I get so emotional. Something cool that Sister Rasmussen said was "we don't worship Joseph Smith but we do praise him" and I loved that!! I read the Restoration Proclamation this week and it hit me just how powerful and amazing the Restoration is. Everyone go read it!!!!

 

 

It was our home girl Phyllis's bday on Friday and so we made her a cake and got our whole zone to come and sing for her!! Literally made her day, we love her!! 

 

 

I'm so insanely grateful for my mission and the opportunity I have to serve with such cool people. I really do understand now why I'm serving here, God knew what he was doing that's for sure! I love being a missionary and getting to wear Christ's name everyday!

Heyoooo it's been a rollercoaster of a week. Lots of good and not so good. But that's okay because Satan works hard when he knows we're close to something good! So I've talked about the Winterton family a lot, because we've been working with them alot and just looovveee them. But some sad news, the dad told us he doesn't want missionaries coming over anymore. We were so shocked because we didn't have any clue that they had some concerns. They also seemed so happy to have us over and we looovveeed going over, so we were very sad. Even though we aren't meeting with them anymore I have hope that they'll remember coming to church and having us over and that the spirit will keep working on them!  One huge miracle!! Kendalyn came to church! Annndd she went up and bore her testimony! It was the sweetest thing in the entire world and made me cryyyy:,) she's so good and is so happy to come back to church. God Is Good!!

Hey!! it was a good week with lots of miracles! God is good We met with Heaven on Saturday night and holy moly what a spiritual lesson! Her husband has a crazy conversion story & when he shares his testimony it's so powerful!! We were talking about Christ's Atonement and I just sat back and listened to him talk and just started crying because the spirit was insane. I love Jesus Christ and His gospel!!! It's so amazing!! The joy it brings is incomparable.  We also met with Lupe Jr who we were teaching for awhile but then passed off to YSA. He had a baptismal date when we taught him but then fell off with the elders. Which is not their fault at all haha Lupe just doesn't like the elders.. he asked us if we could teach him again. So thats kinda awkward because he has a little bit of a flirting problem but we told him he had to be meeting with us for the right reasons lol and he said he is sooo.. were gonna start teaching him again and get him baptized!  We met with our...

Yesterday was Sister Hill 21st birthday!! She is happy and doing great. She is excited to be a trainer and will be awesome. You can email her anytime. Thanks for loving our sweet Sister. Polly olivia.hill@missionary.org What's uppp! It's been a crazy week, little update for yall--> Got my little greenie on Wednesday, Sister Sheppard! Shes so cute & fun, love her already! She's from Phoenix & went to BYU for a little before the mission.  It was the 3 of us for a few days but Sister Plank let this morning, we woke up at 3 to get her to the airport! Crazy! I'll miss her a lot, its been fun!  We had a BOMB lesson with Debbie & I felt the spirit so strongly as we visited with her,  I asked her straight up if she believes in the things we have shared with her. Without hesitation she said Yes!! I just love Debbie so much and I want so badly for her to get on the covenant path back to God!
