WKM Good Times

Hello everyone! It's been a great week! The days are long but wow the week goes by so fast! It's getting so hot here! I got a little burnt during service the other day haha oops. But yeah the area is doing great!  

 

 

We are teaching this guy named Cory and he has been to 4 different churches/religions in 4 years haha so he likes learning about new religions. We're hoping he won't just join our church for a year and then find a new one hahah. But he came to a baptism on thursday and he loved it! He liked how personal it was! He always asks a billion questions and sometimes they're hard to answer lol but I really think he'll get baptized soon! It makes me stoked! He also came to church and all the members were SO nice and very welcoming and it made my heart so happy!! 

 

 

My zone is so fun, we do a lot together haha lots of volleyball and basketball so you already know I've become a baller. JK I'm terrible lol but I still try. I say this a lot but I freakin love the members here they're so nice and treat us so good! Also I've realized how much members help with missionary work! It's awesome to have them involved!

 

 

We have a buddy named Phyllis who we visit a lot haha love her! She's just this tiny old lady and has giant dogs who tackle us lol gotta love it, but we went over the other day and helped her garden! She's had a rough life and her testimony is so inspiring to me. 

 

 

We went on a hike last week and it was just a giant hill lol but it was hard lol. But we got a great view of the tri-cities so it was fun to see the place I'm serving in haha. 

 

 

We have a lady in our ward that works at Great Harvest so everytime she works and there's leftover food she drops it off at our apt hahah. So we get like 20 muffins and 10 cinnamon rolls and 5 loafs of bread a week hahah. At first I was like wow sick that's nice, but now I'm like this is way too much what are we supposed to do with all this?! So we just give it away to the elders in our zone lol. 

 

 

Anyways I hope this isn't too long haha. I love being a missionary! 32891/10 recommend! I hope everyone is doing amazing! God loves you! The church is TRUE! :)))))

Heyoooo it's been a rollercoaster of a week. Lots of good and not so good. But that's okay because Satan works hard when he knows we're close to something good! So I've talked about the Winterton family a lot, because we've been working with them alot and just looovveee them. But some sad news, the dad told us he doesn't want missionaries coming over anymore. We were so shocked because we didn't have any clue that they had some concerns. They also seemed so happy to have us over and we looovveeed going over, so we were very sad. Even though we aren't meeting with them anymore I have hope that they'll remember coming to church and having us over and that the spirit will keep working on them!  One huge miracle!! Kendalyn came to church! Annndd she went up and bore her testimony! It was the sweetest thing in the entire world and made me cryyyy:,) she's so good and is so happy to come back to church. God Is Good!!

Hey!! it was a good week with lots of miracles! God is good We met with Heaven on Saturday night and holy moly what a spiritual lesson! Her husband has a crazy conversion story & when he shares his testimony it's so powerful!! We were talking about Christ's Atonement and I just sat back and listened to him talk and just started crying because the spirit was insane. I love Jesus Christ and His gospel!!! It's so amazing!! The joy it brings is incomparable.  We also met with Lupe Jr who we were teaching for awhile but then passed off to YSA. He had a baptismal date when we taught him but then fell off with the elders. Which is not their fault at all haha Lupe just doesn't like the elders.. he asked us if we could teach him again. So thats kinda awkward because he has a little bit of a flirting problem but we told him he had to be meeting with us for the right reasons lol and he said he is sooo.. were gonna start teaching him again and get him baptized!  We met with our...

Greenie Fire!!

Yesterday was Sister Hill 21st birthday!! She is happy and doing great. She is excited to be a trainer and will be awesome. You can email her anytime. Thanks for loving our sweet Sister. Polly olivia.hill@missionary.org What's uppp! It's been a crazy week, little update for yall--> Got my little greenie on Wednesday, Sister Sheppard! Shes so cute & fun, love her already! She's from Phoenix & went to BYU for a little before the mission.  It was the 3 of us for a few days but Sister Plank let this morning, we woke up at 3 to get her to the airport! Crazy! I'll miss her a lot, its been fun!  We had a BOMB lesson with Debbie & I felt the spirit so strongly as we visited with her,  I asked her straight up if she believes in the things we have shared with her. Without hesitation she said Yes!! I just love Debbie so much and I want so badly for her to get on the covenant path back to God!
